IMSI Treatment in India At Delhi IVF Clinic
IMSI (Intracytoplasmic Morphological Sperm Injection)
IMSI is a procedure which is an improvement over normal Intra-cytoplasmic
sperm injection, a procedure used in IVF protocol. Some of the causes of
male infertility is low sperm count, low motility and abnormal sperm
IMSI is a technique in which a high-powered microscope is
used with magnification (digital magnification) up to 8,000x to
examine the sperms. The digitally enhanced images of the sperm allow the
embryologist to detect any structural abnormalities that are difficult to
locate with conventional microscopes (magnification 400x). But in cases the
sperm count is low and number of normal sperms is still less this technology helps in
selection of the best quality sperms with most normal morphology for fertilization.
It is an improved variation of ICSI.
motility is good in the ejaculate.
PICSI Fertility Treatment in Delhi
This technique is superior to ICSI as it gives consistently better results than ICSI. This technique
also separates DNA fragmented sperms from normal sperms.
How IMSI treatment is done?
This method is done to further improve the chances of ICSI
in assisted reproductive technology especially in patients
with several unsuccessful IVF cycles. It is a method in which
sperm is selected before micro injection for fertilization.
The selection of sperm without morphological abnormalities is
believed to increase the chances of successful implantation of
the embryo and decrease the chances of miscarriage.
